Install Attracktive Player on Arch Linux

Attracktive is a free sound pack player developed by Tracktion

Step 1: Install Tracktion download manager

The official website only provides deb package download. After decompressing the deb package, you can find an executable file named tracktion-download-manager in tracktion_download_manager_v$Version/data.tar/usr/bin.

Step 2: Install Attracktive

Just install Attracktive here, and file attracktive_v$Version_linux.zip will download to ~/Downloads.

Decompressing this file, install Attracktive.so as Attracktive Manual.pdf documented, in section “2.3.2 Manual Installation”.

Step 3: Install BioTek content

Download BioTek conetent manually.

Decompressing downloaded files, install as Attracktive Manual.pdf documented, in section “2.3.2 Manual Installation”.

Step 4: Scan VST3

Open Waveform, settings->plugins->Scan for plugins. Then you can find Attracktive Player at plugins->Tracktion. Open it to verify installtion.
