Radu Jude’s upcoming Dracula trailer teases a wildly inventive mash-up where a curious young filmmaker unleashes a fake A.I. to reimagine the original vampire myth. Expect everything from classic vampire hunts and zombie hordes to Dracula crashing a workers’ strike, a sci-fi twist on Vlad the Impaler’s return, a faithful nod to Romania’s first vampire novella, plus a tragic romance, ribald folktales and campy A.I.–crafted kitsch.
The all-star Romanian cast includes Adonis Tanța, Oana Maria Zaharia, Gabriel Spahiu, Ilinca Manolache, Alexandru Dabija, Andrada Balea, Doru Talos, Șerban Pavlu, Lukas Miko and Alexandra Harapu. Written and directed by Radu Jude, this 2025 flick promises a boundary-pushing, genre-blending spin on Drac mythology.
