We’ve been told for years that AI will revolutionize cybersecurity. What’s less discussed is how the same technology that shields our systems can also turn against us. And that reality is closer than we think.
AI as the New Hacker
Today’s cyberattacks are often orchestrated by humans sitting behind screens, but in the coming decade, those “human operators” could be replaced entirely by autonomous machine agents.
Imagine an AI that scans the entire internet in seconds, identifying weak entry points in outdated software, and launching attacks — all without a single human command after deployment.
